About
Our Team
Stephanie Fowlow, BA, BSW, MSW, RSW
Owner & Founder, Clinical Social Worker / Therapist
I hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from St. Thomas University, as well as a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Memorial University of Newfoundland. I am a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers.
With over ten years of experience, I have worked with youth, adults, and older adults facing challenges such as addiction, relationship and family issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, sexual abuse, ADHD, grief and loss, self-esteem, and stress. My focus is to work closely with clients to create a therapeutic plan that ensures they feel heard, supported, and in control of their goals.
My background includes child welfare, youth and adult services, addictions and mental health, crisis intervention, and community outreach. Having worked extensively within multidisciplinary teams, I value collaboration and strong connections with community partners.
I look forward to connecting with you and creating a plan that meets the needs of you and your family.
What began as my solo practice has now grown into a dedicated team of counsellors, and strong, intelligent women! I’m so happy to introduce the new Best Kind Counselling team. Together, we share the same commitment to providing compassionate, trauma-informed, and collaborative support for adults, youth, and families in Saint John and the surrounding area. Our goal is to create a safe, respectful space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered.
